Apparel Labels

Clothing Labels and Hang Tags

apparel labels
All finished garments need labels and hang tags. In some cases these small units can do as much to sell a garment as the item itself. The apparel label is the finishing touch to your garment and our labels are a great way to reinforce your brand. We will include all of the necessary apparel information on the label, according to your specifications. We at Clothing Labels 4u.com have over 10 years of experience and can make the proper recommendaton to make sure all of the necessary information is on your apparel label.  This includes your branding information such as a picture or motto, so that your company is represented properly.
When considering printed or woven apparel labels, it is important to know which will work best for your needs. Wovenapparel labels tend to be more durable than the printed labels. My experience is that printed labels tend to fade after washings, so I believe that woven apparel labels are the best way to go.
Beware of companies that offer cheap, low quality apparel labels.  These labels could make your custom items look like they are low quality. Our custom clothing labels are great quality yet they are still inexpensive, and we offer our woven apparel labels in low minimum quantities.

How To Start A Fashion Company

Chances are if you are thinking of starting a fashion company you have lots of ideas about what
you would like to design and lots of questions too. The first step is to get organized.

A lot of people have too many designs and need to narrow down the styles. You can start the process
with 1 to 12 styles and no more than 24 for the first season. If you want to sketch them simply trace over a figure to get the proportion. If you don't have the time and don't want to even attempt sketching simply find photos of garments similar to what you want to make.  You are going to
need to convey your ideas to a pattern maker. This can be done through your sketches, photos
or actual garments.

Once you have prepared your designs you will have a list of questions. You have some pieces
to the puzzle but it is not easy to put together. Some people feel like they must completely
understand the entire process prior to getting started. This would be impossible with no
prior industry experience but you can get a good idea of the process through your research.
Once you have done this it is best to take it one step at a time and learn during the process.

The following is a list of the basic steps:

1 Design ideas-organize and narrow down. Create a budget
2. Pattermaking (contact us for patterns and consulting

3. Sew samples, choose fabrics and label logo
4. Create website & marketing
5. Grading and markers
6. Cutting & sewing of production

***Please note based on what your end result is these steps or order of steps can differ slightly.
The important thing is you have to get started someplace.  I find that people usually postpone
their dream indefinitely based on fear of failure. Even if you get started small and just get
your feet wet it is better than wondering if this process is a possibility for you. For more
